PAPER CRANE flies to Penang Today is August 23rd. 2 days before we open PAPER CRANE at penangpac. The 18 day run at klpac proved to be both wonderful and not so wonderful as we enjoyed the performances to small audiences. Like MALAYSIAN GIRLS comments this time are Fasting Month Cantonese - cannot understand lah. But yet there were non Chinese and Chinese who loved what they saw. What gives with Malaysian Theatre? While Yue May works her socks off the results are so abismal!! In Penang it is looking like a repeat of KL, thankfully the run is only 8 shows with two nights sold. PAPER CRANE did not get a cent in sponsorship. We are still hoping for a miracle! And everyone is trying desperately. Penang being Chinese territory maybe singing a different tune. It's almost 6.30. Can't wait for Opening Night of PAPER CRANE at penangpac!
