After 2 weeks in Oz
Joe and I are back in kl after 2wonderful weeks in Sydney. That's why I have been silent for sometime. In fact we got back Sunday 27.9, and got straight into looking into the prep for TAS@LOT10 opening on 10.10.09, which is just this Saturday. The theatre has been looked after byIan, Yue May, Shalu, Zaw, Boon, Bharani, Afzal and Ming Jin. They had their hands full what with putting in the finishing touches - still incomplete as we speak - testing out the aqoustics, aircon, seating, lighting, toilets, sounds of the water - everything.
All the test runs organised by Ian, right up till last Sunday. Now it's rehearsals for the opening. Yue May and her list of invites, publicity, catering - it's not easy when the money is scarce. Now there's 180 yeses for the night.

Thank you Jason. You and Swee Hwan must come by to TAS@LOT10 - we have free shows nightly till Sunday 18. Tpnight there's dance, tomorrow 2 plays in BM by Adiwijaya, Saturday Night The klpac String Ensemble and Sunday night T4YP's 24 hour theatre! All very exciting. There's also a beautiful restaurant next to TAS@LOT10 on the rooftop - TEEQ as well as lots of other eating places in Lot 10! Yes we must help market our neighbours too. :)
