HANTU JANUARY 2015

Happy New Year to all friends and loved ones. Yes I made a New Year resolution to be happy and smiling, but I did say that I'd need help. Looks likes its more difficult than I thought. Its me of course because I'm such a difficult person to please.
Anyway, let me share the good moments, very good moments with LIFE SDN BHD 'HANTU' which ended last night. No, the houses were far from full but judging from the responses, they enjoyed themselves. I could say this is one of the most entertaining of the LIFE series, even more so than Lighter Side of LIFE in 2013. Everyone from techs to backstage to performers put in their best foot forward and the result is sheer enjoyment. The process of LIFE SDN BHD is magical. As long as there is this kind of support from everyone, we can't fail. Convincing audiences is another story but kudos to Mudz and Nurul, especially Nurul for her untiring effort at trying to get audiences to come and watch 'HANTU'. I must say she did succeed. If there was more time, more could have been done. That's always the situation. The Year End Concert and HANTU were practically back to back. We are always learning as we go along.
Thanks to Joel, inspite of the floods in Kelantan which affected Ryonn's family, he still played his part.
A big thank you to our Lighting Designer Boy who went to town with the lights and the HANTU decor. It was a treat. To Lynn who is Stage Managing for the first time and did very well, complete with notes written after every rehearsal and performance. And she had great rapour with the cast and techs. We cant ask for more. And finally came the makan makan with the cast, with PANDA PIZZA, Boy's suggestion, very okay indeed boy and economical too. After the makan makan was when things went down hill. But the less said the better for all concerned. I shall persevere with my New Year resolution to remain happy in 2015.
My thanks to all the cast at klpac and penangpac for your trust in yourselves and me.
